PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION

To award a construction contract to Tom Willoughby Ltd at a value of £132,007.25 for an element of re-roofing works at King James’s School, Knaresborough.

BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION

A competitiveprocurement exercise was undertaken during March and April 2022 utilising the YORbuild framework.  The scheme is programmed to commence on site in July 2022 and is due to complete September 2022.

LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE

A competitive procurement exercise was undertaken by the Council’s Procurement and Contract Management Service.

RECOMMENDATION

That a construction contract be awarded to Tom Willoughby Ltd.
